The Internship would involve unpaid voluntary work for specific functions or projects of Diksha. Interns would help to create or expand Diksha’s programs and resources. Candidates would be selected by Diksha staff based on experience and commitment to Diksha’s mission. Some internships are bound to a specific location, while others can be undertaken remotely.

Patna, Nalanda, Delhi & Bulandhshahr

Limited funding may be available to cover accommodation /subsistence dependent on the needs of the volunteer and how long they commit to stay.

Activities :
Volunteers may teach subjects such as math, science, computer skills, or general elementary education.They may also be involved with community mobilization and resource generation activities.

Selection Criteria:
We do not require volunteers to have classroom teaching experience before they apply, we are looking for candidates with a demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with children.

Teaching experience (formal and informal) or a demonstrated interest in education
Public or community service experience
Evidence of independence, open-mindedness, and flexibility

Volunteers are expected to stay/commit for a minimum of two months.
