The Prarabdh project is a collaborating venture with the Alok Charitable Trust ( .The project is located in the District of Bullandshehr in Uttar Pradesh in a village called Gangagarh. The SRB Alok School was set up under the aegis of the Alok Charitable Trust in the village in 1988. The Prarabdh project is designed to facilitate the learning journeys of the 850 students, and 27 staff members of the school. As part of the program a fully equipped computer lab and library have been established in the school. These facilities are usually unavailable in rural schools in India.

The changing paradigms in education have been included in the curriculum of the school. We are equipping the students to become holistic learners by inculcating early reading habits. The School library has pictorial books, short stories, Panchtantra books, science books etc. Early orientation classes in computers and Digital Study Halls have also been initiated so that the students can be introduced to technological tools of learning. The Computer Lab has 12 computers with power backup facility. The lab is utilized after school hours to offer computer training to the youth in the area.

The Village community partners in the process of rejuvenation and change. The Village infrastructure after the intervention includes a 2 acre school campus and a dharamshala and community center. The SRB School also has volunteer visits from Cognizant Technology Solutions – A multi national company that supports our work.
